📌 Bitcoin2 FAQ — Read This First!Welcome to Bitcoin2! Below are answers to the most common questions about the project. ❓ What is Bitcoin2? Bitcoin2 is the Ideal Upgrade to Bitcoin. It combines: - Scarcity of Bitcoin (21M cap, no premine)
- Speed of Kaspa (~1s blocks with blockDAG)
- Programmability of Ethereum (EVM-based Layer 2)
- Privacy of Monero (stealth addresses & zk-privacy — roadmap)
- Interoperability of Cosmos (bridges & rollups)
❓ How is Bitcoin2 launched? Fair launch. No ICO, no presale, no premine. Everyone can mine, build, and participate equally from day one. ❓ How do I get Bitcoin2 (BTC2)? At first, by mining on devnet. Later, you can also: - Earn BTC2 via community contributions.
- Wrap BTC2 on L2 (WBTC2) for apps & liquidity.
- Trade peer-to-peer once the community sets it up.
Note: There is no presale and no official exchange listing. ❓ How do I mine Bitcoin2? Mining guides will be posted when the Devnet launches. Mining will be open to CPUs/GPUs in early phases, with details coming soon. ❓ What is the Treasury DAO? 10% of block rewards go into a community-controlled Treasury DAO. Funds are used for: - Development grants
- Infrastructure (explorers, wallets, nodes)
- Community initiatives
❓ Is Bitcoin2 private? Basic transactions are public, like Bitcoin. Privacy is a roadmap goal via stealth addresses and zk-proofs. ❓ Where can I follow updates? ❓ Is this investment advice? No. Bitcoin2 is an open-source community project. Do your own research. Never invest more than you can afford to lose. ✅ Still have questions? Ask them in General Discussion — the community is here to help.

The Treasury will fund devs, tools, and community. But how strict should rules be? - Open proposals for anyone?
- Minimum quorum for votes?
- Should grants have milestones or be paid upfront?
