Bitcoin2 L1 uses Proof-of-Work blockDAG with ~1 second blocks. 

Discussion points: 
  • Mining hardware (CPU, GPU, ASIC?)
  • Difficulty adjustment
  • Security assumptions vs Bitcoin’s PoW
